Music Together is an early childhood music and movement program for young children and the grown-ups who love them!

6 – 12 children aged 0 to preschool and their grown-ups meet once a week for a 45-minute-session to experience the fun of making Music Together in an informal atmosphere.

We offer three 10-week semesters each year in Westend and in Sachsenhausen.

Young children learn best from the powerful role models in their lives and that's where the grownups come in! Parents don't need to have music skills, they just need a desire to play and have fun with their children! Our family music classes show parents and caregivers how to help their children become confident music-makers just by having fun making music themselves.

The Music Together curriculum is research- based and developed by experts in music education and child development and because we know that children learn through play, we make everything we do in class engaging and fun.

For university preparation we have students from all over Europe. Lessons are mainly given on a grand piano. By using modern keyboards and playalongs, you can prepare yourself for playing with a band (later in different ensembles). Themes like, voicing, ear training, harmony, scale theory, improvisation, arrangement and composition can be integrated into the piano lessons or be taken separately as a course.

The Kindergarten is maintained by the parents on a non-profit, non-sectarian basis. The parents assist the professional teachers in and outside the classroom. Each family shares in both the business operation of the kindergarten (by serving on the Board), and the maintenance of buildings, grounds and materials, thus making it truly a cooperative venture.

As we do not operate our waiting list on a first come first served basis, but rather look for the best match to the KIDS community, it is never too late to apply for a place.
