For the week of November 18th, The Antal group travelled to Abu Dhabi from 40 offices, representing 25 countries, with a combined distance travelled totalling over 660,000 km – almost the distance to the moon and back!

The Formula 1 themed conference was hosted at the InterContinental hotel in Abu Dhabi, UAE. It was a showcase of diverse international recruitment talent, bringing together a wide range of different countries and cultures under one roof to celebrate and develop the Antal group.

Across the two main days, the attendees heard from the board, received learning and development sessions, watched and interacted with motivational speaker Kevin Abdulrahman and got to hear from the rest of the group as they presented their successes and shared their knowledge for the betterment of everybody.

The Thursday afternoon had the most involved and ambitious team build activity of any AGC yet, with an Apprentice-themed list of items that the attendees, split into groups, had to go out and negotiate for at a local shopping center; testing their business acumen and teamwork in a competitive team build.

The Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony followed, with 15 awards presented to the best performing individuals and offices, where Antal Germany’s Ed Moore picked up the ‘Antal Spirit Award’.

Due to the challenges faced by a global pandemic we hope to be able to continue our Global Conference tradition in the near future.
